Time does fly so fast! And tomorrow morning I will be taking off to the magic and artistic city of London! Now it’s time to pack everything and say a “see you later” to the place that will always have a very special place in my heart: Portugal – the warm, awesome, friendly and sunny Portugal 🙂 As for now it’s time to re meet the nice British and face the not so warm weather of the capital of England…. and why not start thinking about next new trips (knowing that I’m always open to my Bloggers’ nice suggestions of must go places)!! 🙂

Hello my friends!!! 😀

Just started my adventure and I am super excited to share with you the beginning of it!!

Acabo de começar a minha nova aventura, a qual estou super contente por partilhar aqui com vocês!!

So the day started with me and my brother flying to Brussels where we found the airport that sells and endless amount of chocolate!!

O dia hoje começou comigo e com o meu maninho a voar até Bruxelas onde encontramos o aeroporto que vendo uma quantidade infindável de chocolates!!

There we waited some time until our next flight, the one that would take us to our final destination – BIRMINGHAM! While waiting Starbucks and watch Pretty Little Liars seemed like a nice way to kill some time!

Em Bruxelas tivemos de esperar algum tempo por o nosso próximo voo, o que nos ía levar até ao nosso destino final – BIRMINGHAM! Para matar o tempo Starbucks e Pretty Little Liars foram a combinação perfeita!

8.15 and it was time to flight again! This time the airplane was super small, kinda like a flying bus which was funny!

8.15 – hora de voar novamente! Desta vez num avião bem mini como uma espécie de autocarro voador, era engraçado!

And even though it was just 1 hour flying until Birmingham we had to find a silly way to kill some time!

E apesar de ter sido apenas 1 hora de voo tivemos de arranjar uma forma de nos manter entretidos e que resultou nestas belas obras de arte fotográfica!

We also got some time to take some pictures from the plane, our first view of Birmingham (and its neighborhood)

Também aproveitamos para tirar algumas fotografias do avião, as nossas primeiras imagens de Birmingham e vizinhança…

And before we notices there we were, in the place we are about to live in the next..hmm..couples years!! (ouw it does sounds strange!!). Out of the airport we got a taxi that took us right way to our hostel, where we will be staying the next couple days! Here is our very temporary “home”.

E antes de darmos por isso lá estavamos nós, no lugar que se tornará a nossa casa nos próximos…bem nos proximos anos! (e isto soa muito estranho!). Saidos do aeroporto, apanhamos um taxi que nos levou directamente até ao hostel, onde ficaremos nos próximos dias! E aqui está a nossa simpática temporária casa!

With our stomach ready for some food we left the hostel looking for a restaurant. Not knowing much of the city we ended up in a Indian one – I believe at least since I ordered shrimp and my brother chicken and the dishes looked pretty much the same! But it was good!

Com alguma fomeca saimos à procura de jantar acabando num restaurante de comida penso eu que indiana, o meu irmão pediu frango e eu camarão e sinceramente não conseguimos distinguir os nossos pratos! Mas estava bom, a nossa primeira refeição por cá!
