To all of you I truly hope you have had an amazing Christmas full of love, magic, joy, smiles, food and fun! 🙂 Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year and combining two passions of mine Christmas and baking, around Christmas time the kitchen is always very busy! Every cake is different but with me I do tend to put eggs in pretty much anything I do and sometimes more egg yolk than egg whites. Here is a very easy recipe and great idea to put into use those extra egg whites from the cakes! I did it to safe the egg whites I had left from my Pastel de Nata (: Hope you enjoy it and it helpful!
So to do this easy and quick Molotof recipe you will need:
- 8 egg whites
- 5 tbsp of yellow sugar
1. Whisk the egg white. Add the sugar and whisk until it turns into a very smooth mixture.
2. Add the caramel (as much as you like) and stir it by hand.
3. Pre-heat the oven at 180ºC. Put the Molotof in the oven for 8 minutes then turn off the temperature and let it rest for 30 minutes in the oven.
4. After the 38 minutes take it out of the oven and place it in a plate right away. And it’s ready to serve!
