Cheesy Breads Brazil


Morning breakfast was a little Brazilian with this recipe of cheesy breads that go just great with pretty much anything you may wanna put in or just by itself!

Recipe

1 package of cassava starch  / 1 pacote de Polvilho Doce

2 cups of milk / 2 canecas de leite

1/2 cup of sunflower oil / meia caneca de óleo de girassol

4 eggs / 4 ovos

2 cups of grated cheese (or more if desired) / 2 canecas de queijo ralado (ou mais se desejado)

A bit of salt / Um pitada de sal

Preparation:

1. Whisk the milk, oil and salt together in a pan and take it to medium heat until it boils. / Mistura-se o leite, óleo e sal numa panela e leva-se ao lume até ferver.

2. Remove it and mix it with and package of cassava starch. / Retira-se do lume e mistura-se o leite fervido com a mistura da polvilho doce.

3. Let it cool down. / Deixa-se arrefecer.

4. Once it is cold, add the eggs and finally the cheese. / Quando estiver frio adiciona-se os ovos e por fim o queijo.

5. Make small balls with your hand and put it in a bake sheet. Take it to the oven at 200ºC for about 14 minutes or until it looks orange on the top. / Faz-se pequenas bolas com as mãos e colocam-se num tabuleiro. Leva-se ao forno durante cerca de 14 minutos a uma temperatura de 200ºC.

And it is ready to serve! / E está pronto a servir!
