It’s coming…It’s coming…! New adventure is about to start! New life, new country, new experience, new everything…! My anxious and nervous are starting to express themselves more than I wanted them to…I guess I need to relax a little more! I definitely do!

Time to catch the bus now, take a book and try to travel to another world! Sometimes it does good to the heart, after all isn’t reading the quickest and easiest way of traveling? πŸ˜‰

      • I was there for study abroad during college! πŸ™‚ I never went to Birmingham, but I did live in the same named city in Alabama! Lol. I hope you love it!! Are you there for vacation or something else?

      • Cool!! I am actually going there to study as well, I will do all my college there at the Birmingham City Univ! So are you american? How did you like living in the UK?

      • That’s amazing, congrats on your scholarship! πŸ™‚ yes! I’m American & I live in Atlanta, Georgia. The UK was great!! Though, the winters are very cold. Lol.

      • Thank you! πŸ˜€ that is pretty awesome! Did you do your year abroad by any program or on your own? and what did you think of classes in the UK? (hope I am not throwing you a bunch of questions, it is just that since you have been through the same experience I am about to go it is really cool to hear your experience! πŸ™‚

      • I did a program through my university (University of Georgia) & it was just for the Hilary/winter term. πŸ™‚ classes were very different from my classes at UGA (which is a huge school), it was mostly small (3-4 people) classes with a “don” & a couple seminar classes with like 20 people. I’m glad we get to chat about these things!! πŸ™‚ you’re going to have a great experience!!

      • Thank you! πŸ™‚ and I hope so! I am really looking forward to it! Were the classes a lot of theory or also practical? And what did you think of British people?

      • I went through the school I was in at my university (school of public & international affairs), so I took international affairs theory & law classes. πŸ™‚ British people are friendly for the most part. They smoke more than most Americans I know, but drink as much as we did in college! Lol.

      • lol yes, I think that is a little all over Europe, a lot of smoking! :s when I was in the US it was nothing like that! And did you work while you were there?

      • Lol pretty much – Americans tend to hate secondhand smoke! I didn’t work while I was there because I was only there for a term, so I’m not sure how that would work with student visas & such.

      • I went to Keble College at Oxford in Oxford. It was only a short train ride to London, where my best friend was doing her study abroad. (I think her school was Lancaster? Or something like that? Lol)

      • I am not sure yet! My plan is to get there and stay in a hostel for the first like 2 days and during that time look for a student shared house or a dorm outside campus cause I was told it is cheaper! I have been looking up some already and once I get there I will just make visits to all and choose one!
