Nutella Cookies


Hey! 🙂

Me being home with nothing to do very often leads me to the kitchen to bake something (or being honest most of the time it’s simply to eat!). And since I got done with my driving lesson at about 5 I had the rest of the afternoon to put my mind into creating something and what did I came up with? NUTELLA cookies!! So I made these super easy, quick and I promise you delicious cookies!!

Here it is the recipe I did:

Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour / 2 canecas de farinha
1 teaspoon baking soda / 1 colher de chá de fermento
1/2 teaspoon salt / meia colher de chá de sal
1/2 cup melted butter / meia caneca de manteiga sem sal derretida
1 cup brown sugar / 1 caneca de açucar amarelo
2 eggs / 2 ovos
1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla / 1 colher e meia de baunilha
1 teaspoon of  Nutella in each cookie / 1 colher de chá de Nutella em cada bolacha
1-1/2 cups chocolate chips / 1 caneca meia de pepitas de chocolate (ou mais!)

Note/Nota: if the batter doesn’t get hard enough  you may add some more flour / se a massa ficar pouco consistente pode juntar-se mais farinha.

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and prep baking sheets with silpats or parchment paper.  / aqueçar o forno a 200ºC e preparar um tabuleiro com uma folha de papel de cozinha

2. In a large bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt. / numa taça misturar a farinha, fermento e sal

3. In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream the butter and the brown sugar. Add the eggs and the vanilla until combined. / numa batedeira colocar a manteiga e o açucar amarelo. Adicionar os ovos e a baunilha.

4. Gradually add the flour until the mixture is combined. / adicionar a farinha aos poucos na mistura de ovos, açucar e manteiga

5. Then mix the chocolate chips. / adicionar as pepitas de chocolate.

6. Finally put the batter in the baking sheet. Use about 1 tablespoon of batter for each cookie and inside put the teaspoon of Nutella. / finalmente coloca-se a massa no tabuleiro. Usar cerca de 1 colher de sopa de massa para cada bolacha e dentro desta colocar cerca de 1 colher de chá de Nutella

7. Bake for about 9-13 minutes. / cozinha cerca de 9-13 minutos.

And then here they come… Try it and I am telling you, you won’t regret! 😉
