Morning French Toast


Good Morning/afternoon my lovely bloggers,

I hope I had a great start of day! Today after my morning workout I decided to do some French toast for brunch super quick and easy! Here I leave you the recipe.

Ingredients:

1 egg / 1 ovo

1 dash of vanilla / 1 pitada de baunilha

Peanut butter / manteiga de amendoim

2 slices of bread / 2 fatias de pão

butter / manteiga

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, lightly beat the egg and vanilla together. / numa pequena taça bate-se o ovo e a baunilha.
  2. Spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter on top of each slice of bread. / Espalha a manteiga de amendoim numa das fatias de pão de modo a fazer a sandwich.
  3. In a skillet or frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Dip the sandwich into the egg mixture and place in the heated skillet. Cook until brown on both sides. Serve hot. / numa frigideira derrete-se a manteiga em lume brando. Mergulha-se a sandwich na mistura de ovo e baunilha e coloca-se na frigideira. Cozinha-se até ambos os lados estarem castanhos. Serve-se quente.

Note: It is very good if you add banana slices on top of one of the slices of bread among with the peanut butter. I just didn’t do it cause I had no bananas at home, but if it is something you like you may like to add it! /Fica muito bom com fatias de banana juntamente com a manteiga de amendoim. Eu só não coloquei porque não tinha bananas em casa, mas se gostar de banana é algo que aconselho juntar à french toast!

Maple syrup goes very good with French toast as well so you may like to try it also. Maple syrup também fica muito bom com French toast por isso é algo que também aconselho experimentar!
